COMMUNITY RESIDENTIAL REHABILITATION (CRR) SERVICES
Children in the CRR program suffer from mental illness or serious emotional disturbances. This program is used as both a step-up from living at home, when more intense services are needed, and as a step-down from residential treatment centers. A treatment team works with each child to facilitate healthy change and improvement so that he or she can return to a less restrictive setting as soon as possible. Resource parents of CRR children provide therapeutic interventions as instructed by the child’s therapist or other service providers.
